Kate

Kate started her piano studies at the age of four. Having carried her passion and love for music over the years, she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in piano performance at the Gnesin Academy of Music and continued to improve her performing skills at the Schwob School of Music in the USA in the class of the renowned pianist Alexander Kobrin. During her studies Kate repeatedly won first prizes at international piano competitions. Having received strong performance training from excellent teachers, Kate enjoys sharing her experience with aspiring piano lovers. Having started teaching when she was a student, Kate has gained great experience in piano teaching for more than 10 years.

Thanks to her kindness, patience, individual approach to every student, and a wealth of musical games that allow her students to learn new material quickly, Kate’s students enjoy studying the piano and look forward to every lesson. The basis of teaching is classical repertoire, pop and jazz compositions, tailored to her students’ level of training. In her piano lessons Kate teaches basic music theory, pays attention to the development of musical hearing, sight reading, technical skills development and playing in ensemble. These are skills that will be useful for every music lover, or become a solid foundation for further professional musical training. Her students successfully pass exams and win prizes in international youth piano competitions. Kate also enjoys teaching piano to adults, individually planning each lesson, covering all the adult student’s wishes and goals.
